In January I was contacted by Will Spence of The Will of Music to do an interview. Will is a disabled drummer himself, unfortunately unable to play any longer, and he started the website as a way to stay in touch with his love for music.
He welcomed me to republish the interview here. I'm hoping it gives alittle bit more of an insight into myself as a disabled drummer and my thoughts toward the subject, and the website in general, in a way that I haven't fully expressed on the website elsewhere.

Rick Allen is known worldwide as the one-armed drummer for Def Leppard. He lost his arm in 1984 in a tragic car accident and before even leaving his hospital bed, began planning his comeback into the drummer's seat. By utilizing a completely electronic drum setup with pedal triggers that allowed him to play snare, tom, and other notes with his left foot, he etched his place in music legend forever and has inspired countless drummers the world over.
