Single-Handed Shuffle Grooves Part 2
This lesson again focuses on shuffle grooves played with one hand. These grooves have an open hi-hat played on the ah of 2, with a variety of bass drum patterns
underneath that are designed to help develop interdependence between
the hand pattern and both feet. This lesson is a bit harder than the
last, but practicing these grooves slowly and counting out loud can
make them a lot easier. Grooves 11-12 are a hi-hat variation for
another interesting twist on the basic idea. I hope you enjoy them.
